How to Donate

Monetary Donations

If you would like to support us with a monetary donation, please see our membership form below. Also see our wish list or contact us with questions if you are wondering about our specific projects or needs. These donations should be sent, along with a completed membership form, to P.O. Box 44 in Pittsfield, IL.

Artifact Donations

If you would like to donate an artifact, we greatly prefer that you make arrangements with a board member to meet at the museum so this can be done in person. If that is not possible, you can sign the Deed of Gift and fill out the Donor Information Form (below) and send your carefully packaged donation and completed forms to us in the mail. Please contact us prior to mailing.

If you require an appraisal of your donated items please have it done before donating. Any appraisals are the responsibility of the donor. The Pike County Historical Society does not appraise items or recommend appraisers.

Deed of Gift: Read and sign this if you are donating an artifact. This is an agreement between you and the museum. If there are other terms you'd like to discuss, please contact us. If the terms are agreeable for you, you can use the form as is

Membership Form: If you would like to support our organization by becoming a member of the Historical Society, please fill out this form and mail it in with your monetary donation.
